On Monday i started out trying a new program, called 5x5. This is with 2 kettlebells.
workout days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 5x5 means 5 exercises with 5 sets. depending on the KB weight and your experience depends on how many reps you do i.e 2x16 kbs advance level maybe around 12 reps each set with 30-60 second rest between sets. (!!Always remember to warm up!!)
Mondays workout:
A.1: Double military press
A.2: Alternating renegade row
doing 5 sets of each switching between exercises.(remember to rest).
when these are done move onto set B
B.1: Double KB front squat
B.2: Double KB swing
then after set B, move onto the final exercise.
C.1: Double KB windmill.do 2 sets of 5 reps, left and right (2x5).
Wednesday workout:
A.1: Double floor press
A.2: Double bent over row
B.1: Double front squat
B.2: Double snatch
C.1: Turkish get ups.left and right (2x5)
Fridays workout:
A.1: Seated military press
A.2: Renegade row
B.1: Double front squat
B.2: Double swing
C.1: Double windmill. left and right (2x5).
Remembering to do 5 sets of each A and B section, the C section is basically your ab work, not as strenuousness as A and B unless going pretty heavy.
